Is this a good deal for the price they’re asking

Found out i’m one of the few lucky charmers to live by your local not really local micro center and seen this bad boy up for sale.

wondering if this is a good deal or not, i’m looking to upgrade from a asus rog strix with a 3070 so this would be a significant jump in performance and etc.

Help! need to know if this purchase makes any sense

Like the title says, currently looking to upgrade from a rog strix g17, rtx 3070 with the AMD Ryzen 9 5900hx… 300hz display 32gb ram and 4 tb ssd

To a Rog Strix Scar g18, rtx 4090 16gb. intel i9-14900hx
with a max display of 2560x1600 240hz. 16gb ram and 2tb ssd

The seller is asking for 2750$ USD

First, is this price reasonable? and if not, should i try negotiating a better price?

Secondly, is this worth the upgrade in terms of performance and over all quality of gaming.

Lastly, Does this purchase make sense in a market where prices continue to fluctuate?, should spend a few extra bucks for the 5090 instead?

Budget: 2900.00$ Usd
Country: USA
Use Case: Gaming and music production
Preferred Specs: Anything that can run cyberpunk at over 60 fps😭
Notes: Hoping to gain some clarity on this and possibly come to a conclusion on if this purchase makes sense or not
