From Chocolate to a New World!
I was recently reminded of a childhood memory when I saw a specific chocolate in the market. Just looking at it brought all the memories flooding back.
For as long as I could remember, I loved trying new things. Anything that might come to your mind, I've definitely tried it at least once. At that time, I was only six years old. No matter where I went, I liked buying candies and enjoying this magical taste.
One day, while I was at school, I saw my best friend buying an expensive chocolate. As for me, I didn't have enough money. Oh God, you can't imagine how angry and upset I was! I only had 35 piasters, and it cost 50 piasters. But deep down, I was determined to buy it.
The next day, I clearly recall my insistence to my mother that she had to increase my allowance by half a dinar. And indeed, she did! I was absolutely delighted. Eventually, I ran quickly to the shop to buy this chocolate. When I took the first bite, I felt something that I cannot explain up to this moment. It was amazing and unbelievable it felt as if new doors had opened for me to enter new worlds.
I've never forgotten how that taste was. Not only because it was delicious, but also because it reminds me of how nice and beautiful those days were. Seeing this chocolate today is so important to me, as it still evokes these precious memories.
