AITA for not responding
I (male) frequent the 3-5 times and there's this group of friends who seem to train around the same as well.
Two days ago, e and one of the girls from this group exchanged a few quick looks, but I didn't make anything of it.
Now, I started rounding my last cardio after lifting, I took my stuff and quickly went towards the stairs to pick up my gear and leave the place.
As I was nearing the stairs, this same girl seemed to try to address, as I heard her voice from my right going: "Excuse me, do you ha...", before stopping.
I was zoned out, quick to leave and only registered her sentence half.
However, I didn't stop in my tracks, didn't turn my head, and basically kept walking.
Only after did I realise I may have accidently ignored her.
So I started feeling somewhat guilty, while doubting if she were indeed addressing me.
Today, I kinda checked the place where it took place and, giving the set up I do feel rather certain her question were directed at me.
She, and the group, arrived at the same time, and we basically used the same area for over an hour.
I contemplated asking her if she were trying to address me and maybe apologize.
On the other, it felt kinda disproportional and rather strange to walk up to a complete stranger with the question: "Hey, could it be that I ignored you last time?"
So, I decided to focus on my training and just let her train as well.
Yet I still do feel like somewhat of an asshole for not showing basic courtesy and at lea**st stopping to check in, especially given the vulnerability and courage it may have required on her part.
I know it's a lot about a rather minor situation, but it stings nonetheless.
