Okay, so I have a 2008 ford taurus that has about 147000 miles. My computer system has been slowly failing me so ive been told by a mechanic. My car's electrical system kinda went kaput on me today I drove home about 2 minutes from where I was because it was getting dark but I had no gauges working or lights and my battery is leaking. Could this be just a failed battery or a result of my computer system. Could that cause the battery to overheat? Sorry I dont have to much knowledge about these things.
