Why is this praying mantis staying in my yard for days?
They've been in my yard for 4 days now and they're not moving a bunch, are they alright?

Need medical advice!
My dad's dogs paw has been red like this for a while and we've been cleaning it about 1-2 times per week with some slight change but not a lot, it gets dirty REALLY easily and now he's been yelping when laying down, sitting up, scratching himself, all with that one paw. Should we take him to the vet over this? It'll be hard to convince my dad because we have a right budget but I'm really concerned for my baby. I can touch it and he won't yelp but when doing certain things he tells and starts to lick it, what should I do?
