Played MMNT for the first time in 16 years

And I still loved it. I know the game is looked down on and it's majorly flawed, but I adore it. Had just as much fun as I remember when I played it as a kid (mid to late teens). Loved everything about it despite the flaws. Quickman's stage was my favourite as a kid, and I still loved it on replay.

I personally can't speak highly enough about the game. It's such a great experience even with the flaws. And the cell shading lends it well. Graphically, it doesn't look like a 24 year old game.

I do admit, once I got a full stack of invisible 2 and 3, and a few stacks for Z-Cannon, the last few bosses were a cakewalk. Didn't make it any less fun. It brought back so much joy for me, and so much so I'm starting to replay all of BN. I'm gonna include BCC and 4.5. I've bought 2-6 twice, at minimum, and own NT and 1 as well.

The soundtrack, the battle designs, the stage designs (with two exceptions), how everyone looks in 3d models, the nostalgic voice work, all of it just brought me so much joy.

It's definitely up there for me on which BN games I like the most. 5 is abouve it for sure and so is 3, but I'm not sure if the other entries come close. It is a shorter game, being only around 20 hours for me, but I completely loved it.

How much whimsy the game brought back for me really also made me want to rewatch the anime (for probably the fifth time), including what was fansubbed

There were two things that I did have frustration with at times. First was some of the ladder jumps were very particular. The other was the sliding ice parkour. I saw it and I screamed. The horror of the ice parkour came flooding back. When going back for chips I needed for my library to unlock Bass I had double jump so just cheesed them when going through the stage again.

Incredibly happy I chose to replay it. The WS game is the only entry I haven't played yet, but to my understanding it's very similar to NT so I'm holding off for now.

Anyway, I'm playing through OSS (opted for it over original bn1 for reasons) and having such a good time. A friend is watching me play through the series, and asks so many questions. He's opened Pandora's box on letting me yap about a series I adore so much.

O yeah, Bass went down in 3 z-cannons and kinda felt bad I bullied him so much.

Starman's stage music was probably my second favourite track. First being what I believe was a remix of the np anime opening. My dumbass was singing the lyrics along with a lyricless track lol. (Kid me memorized the lyrics to a lot of BN music)

Anyway. Had a blast. Playing all the other games and probably gonna watch all seasons of the anime because joy.
