Hey all -

I bought four albino corys a few weeks ago to bring the shoal up to 8 albinos total. I lost 3 in the past 2 weeks and I’m not sure why.

I found another one today and I suspected it has swim bladder issues after seeing it spiraling upside down until eventually settling on the bottom. I feed the tank a mix of hikari micropellets, hikari algae wafers, and hikari sinking wafers every other day (small amounts only - I don’t overfeed).

Parameters tested using API liquid test kit:
- 20 gallon long
- 0ppm ammonia
- 0ppm nitrite
- 0ppm nitrate

~ 78-79 degrees F

Current stocking
- 1x betta fish
- 5x albino corys
- cherry shrimp
- ramshorn snails

Was debating supplementing the vines with another grow light. Would that fix the yellowing leaves? Currently only have a 15W Sansi pointing towards the base of the plant.

Decided to completely tear down my previous tank and rescape it after moving. Only had to buy a few new plants and gave away all the jungle val I didn’t use.

Not quite sure how to feel about this new scape. I think it’ll look great once grown in but I’m feeling a bit of regret after seeing pictures of my last one 😔
