Career Advice as a Junior SE

I was a QA Manual Engineer as a fresh graduate and currently working for a consultant company for two years. I transitioned to be a full time junior developer since January and been working with C#, NOF, legacy code in the same project.

I worked hard to convince management to put me in this position and I know I'm fortunate to be given the opportunity. I plan to work for another two years in this position.

But I'm now realising 10 months into the role that it may not be for me, and when I exit the company I'd like to continue on as a QA Engineer.

I know my salary won't be that high compared to an SE, but I'd love to get advice on how I can upskill in terms of being an QA automation engineer. What tech is currently being used?

And any career advice would be welcome. Thank you.
