Affordable rentals?
Sorry if this doesn’t belong here. I’m just hitting wall after wall like I’m sure many people are when it comes to finding anything affordable to rent on the cape or even just off cape. I work in the mid cape area and ideally would be in the upper cape area or just off cape.
For reference I’m a 28m with a clean hairless cat and have a budget of about $1700 a month for a 1br 1ba or decent sized studio. Quiet, clean, respectful, job security with a well established nonprofit. I’m constantly scouring the Facebook pages and rental websites but I can barely find anything livable, especially having a pet.
I’m at a loss on how I can stay working on the cape with a job I love helping people and animals. But I’m losing hope on being able to stay here.
