O'Neill... Two L's

O'Neill... Two L's

Just re-watching SG1 again and this is the first time I noticed this blooper-worthy scene from "2001" S5 E10. Made me laugh!

Loot Filters has made my full inventory dumping so much easier

A few days ago I finally decided to setup some loot filters properly and now my full inventory sorting/dumping is a breeze! I set RECOLOR for desired affixes, both required and optional, for each slot to simply show the names of potential upgrades in a different color (on the ground and in inventory).

Now when I go to dump my full inventory I just look at the color of the item name and mark anything that isn't the green I set it to as junk and salvage it. If something is a green name (purple for set charms since their name is green by default) then I skip marking it and dump it to check it later.

Setting it up is a pain, but maintaining it is relatively easy.

Each item slot rule has the following conditions:

  • Visibility RECOLOR (if you want them all to be the same color then write down and/or copy/paste the HEX code displayed for the first one you set because for some reason it does not show you the color you picked when you click on it again)
  • Item Type Match
  • Item Power Range
  • Item Rarity Match
  • Has Required Affixes with "Must have at least" usually set to total number of affixes chosen that are absolutely required. As I find items with affixes from optional I can remove it from optional and move it to required.
  • Has Optional Affixes with "Must have at least" set to the number of affixes selected in this section (less important affixes) that would be required from this pool of affixes

For Unique items I just use Is Specific Unique and set Has Required/Options Affix(es)

Charms have separate rules for Seals, Unique Charms, Set Charms. Set charms also use the Talisman Set Bonus condition.

I also have a different rule with a different color for Codex Upgrades, just for curiosity since they get salvaged anyway. This rule is the last one so that potential upgrades will show first even if it has a Codex Upgrade too.

And a rule to hide any rarities I simply don't care about anymore.

Edit: Also note, unfortunately there is no +1 Charm Slot affix for charms yet, for some reason. Hopefully that gets added. Or am I missing it somehow?

If you already do this and have some other rules you add for different reasons please share them here, I'd love to hear them!
