Am I the only one who like Salome and Nora?

I like the whole Sanguinista storyline - finely some vampire ideology that is not based on the idea that vamps are curse (it’s a quite rare in fiction). Also I just like to watch religious zealots, if it’s Fellowship of the Sun or Sanguinista, and jokes about religion.

I would like it to be more developed and had more screen time - for example show in Season 7 that many Sanguinistas doing fine without Hep V because they wasn’t drinking Tru Blood or from willing donors (so Newlin killed mostly mainstreaming, peasful vampires and it would made all situation even more absurdic and tragic)

I love Nora’s scenes in the cell, her dying scene one of the saddest in a story. It was funny when she was bickering with Pam. But I think she needs more character’s development- more likely after such zealots she wouldn’t just abandon religion so easily, she would have doubts, coming back and forth, religious trauma and it will be interesting to watch mixed with Eric’s atheism and their memory of Godric. I like powerful/political women characters.

She was also very cringy involved romantically with Eric, but in a funny way

As for Salome - I like that they used a Biblical backstory, and how cunning Salome is, it’s fun to watch her devotion and relashionship with Roman/betrayal. But once again, not all potential of her character was used

I like seasons 5,6 and 7, but very annoying with the ending

I like the Lilith and Sanguinista storyline (I like everything about religious zealots). I also like the horrific and emotional plot about the death camp and the Hep-V storyline. I feel like the last seasons are more emotional and dramatic and had even more potential than what was actually used.

What I don’t like is the ending. Bill is so annoying, and Sookie’s story feels like it’s saying that women need to accept “normality” and get pregnant/have children as if that’s the best possible outcome for them. I’ve also never liked Jessica and Hoyt together.

I do like how things end for Pam and Eric, and that Sara Newlin gets what she deserves, but everything else — nah.

Who else feels the same way?

I’m in the middle of season 5 now. What do you think, why Pam so harsh, and often cruel with newborn Tara? Eric was probably gentler with Pam when he just made her.
