NYU vs UCD?

For context, I got into UC Davis for neurobiology and committed, but I recently got off waitlist at NYU for the spring semester for LSC. In my case, I’m grateful that cost isn’t a factor, so I’m mainly trying to weigh the strength of each program.

Which is the better option for a premed student?

On one hand, I have the straightforward path of UCD w/ rigorous coursework and an immediate STEM background. But on the other hand, I could take my pre-med prerequisites at a different college and shadow until January, then transfer into NYU for the spring semester where I could cushion my GPA a bit more with the LSC coursework. I’d also be in a big city with a lot more opportunities.

Eventually I want to get into med school, so what’s the best path for me?

Please let me know if you have any advice. Thank you!!!
