New way of administering Ocrevus

Hi everyone,

I don't know if a post has already been made about this. Was scheduled my usual Ocrevus perfusion today. Intravenous. It's my second time having it, I switched at the start of the year after 5 years on Tecfidera.

Anyway, today a neurologist at the hospital I got to presented me a new way to administer Ocrevus : subcutaneous route. It's done in 10 to 20 minutes, with 1h of observation after.

Apparently a study has already been done showing it was the same effects as the intravenous route (with the same side effect too), but now they want to have a study on the quality of the treatment. I agreed to it and have just finished it.

I can say that it is slightly painful, having a needle being stabbed in your stomach, and depending on the pression you can feel the liquid go, but other than that I was done in 20 min. Really time saving imo.

I'm wondering if other people have tried this too? The study is over the course of 2 years with frequent forms to answer.
