Obsession Alternate ending That Would've Been Even Darker [SPOILER]
I watched the movie a few days ago, and one thing that has stayed on my mind is an alternate ending.
After Bear dies, we see Nikki crying over everything that happened. Then the screen cuts to black.
The next scene shows Nikki returning home from work, saying goodbye to a coworker or friend before entering her house. She takes off her clothes, freshens up, and goes about her usual routine. Then she walks into the bedroom.
Suddenly, we see Bear's rotting corpse lying on the bed, covered in insects and surrounded by the smell of decay. Nikki calmly walks over, lies beside the corpse, and cuddles it.
At that moment, we realize everything we've been seeing was a lie. Bear's wish continues even after his death, and Nikki's life has been completely destroyed.
