My professional work involves a lot of rust but it's limited to web development. I want to explore other areas (Databases , AI toolchain , agent frameworks)

Beginner drummer here ( Alesis nitro Max)- is this normal? I'm hearing both splash and pedal most of the time. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong or using the pedal wrong.
Under s-s (splash setting) in utility , it only scales between 1-16 .. can't seem to disable it.

I started watching a few of Dr.Ks videos and I'm finding them extremely helpful.
I am planning on quitting my current job and starting something of my own. But this involves being someone who I'm not. I was always an introverted techie , but this is not something I can be if I want to put myself out there in front of people.
But this new life scares the crap out of me. Im constantly worried about being judged by my peers and the anxiety is crippling.
Are there any relevant Dr.ks videos I can watch that'll help me get over this anxiety ? How to be more confident about myself on social media? How to stop worrying constantly about being judged?
