I’ll be going to game 3 on Monday, and this’ll be my first playoff finals game ever, let alone one where the cup could be awarded (hopefully NOT in this case), and as a result my first time being in the same building as a league’s cup. Will the walter cup be displayed somewhere in the arena that fans will be able to see/take a picture of or with it? It seems like something they could do as a fun fanfare type thing, but it also has it’s own security so they might not, and I have no idea if this is something they might do or not
Why the *hell* would they double the ticket prices from the first round to the finals? The seats I sat in for the first round was $67 CAD. Same seats for the finals are $118 CAD now. That’s absolutely insane. They’re going to price themselves out of their fans’ budgets at this rate. (Also the newsletter presale code STILL hasn’t come out half an hour after our presale was supposed to start, I had to use another group’s code to view prices)
Edit: why are y’all downvoting me for saying the price hike between rounds is bad? “This is the way it’s always done” and “this is bad” are two statements that can co-exist

I saw yesterday the social media accounts posted a “game day schedule”, most of which was just funny, but it talked about the pre-game stuff outside the arena. It says just before puck drop “get a puck from my fav player”, is there something special going on then? Or is it a reference fo the standard pre-game warmup on the ice? I’ve never been to a playoff game before
Edit to add: also, will warm-up pucks be for sale in the merch shop, like how the NHL teams sell theirs in the first intermission?
