Returning to my printer after years of collecting dust - for my daughter

I'm sure I'll get downvoted for this but whatever. I had originally bought the ender 5 pro around 2020-2021. During that time I remember taking weeks or months to get everything calibrated correctly (TONS of issues at the start), including updating the fw to th3d 2.34a. Do I remember any of the stuff I had done? Nope. I don't think I even saved all my print settings in Cura that I had cultivated during that time (I've died inside multiple times now just thinking about it). My head is swimming and I am hoping that someone here can help and offer some direction so I'm not running around in circles.

My daughter is wanting to start using the printer and I know I'm going to have to go through all the testing again for temps, retraction, etc. to fine tune my cura settings, however, I figured it's been over 5 years since I really tinkered with it, I'm wondering if I should be aware of anything that has occurred since then (specific fw I should grab, settings that are for public download, etc.). I'm assuming I should do a firmware upgrade since it's been 5+ years, I just don't remember what I had done to make that custom fw and it looks like you now have to pay for it on the few sites I've gone to. I had read I can compile my own Merlin, I just don't know where and if there are recommended settings from the community for it. I have a micro usb next to my sd slot, so I'm assuming I have a 4.2x board - I remember originally taking the printer apart to see the version, but again...I'm getting old and can't remember what it said lmao and does it matter for 4.2.2 vs 4.2.7 or just knowing 4.2x is fine?

I appreciate any help or direction from everyone here. If you point me in the right direction, I'll get the work done.

I decided I was done with QB and canceled my sub before the renew (1 month ago). I went to go in and start exporting my data to move to another platform and I get the message that I'm beyond my years worth of viewing data and to resub. I tried posting this on their community and get an error every time I try and then get stuck in some weird log in loop (log in > hit the drop down > log in to community > click on the section I want to write a post and get "you must be logged in" > rinse and repeat).

I'm posting here before getting them on the horn to see how to fix this, in the event a smart community member knows how to fix this without me needing to call them when I get the free time (probably on Friday for me). So in the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions?
