Should I be worried about region locked discs?

Found this posting on FB marketplace with a lot of movies that I’d like to pick up. Only problem is I’m seeing these numbers on the side which I’m pretty sure are European age ratings.

Is there a way to find out if these are region locked or am I not really understanding what that term means?

Worst case I just try to see if they’re willing to let me buy a selection rather than the whole lot, but I wanted to see if someone could help me out.
