The rules are on the discord and have been posted on reddit and facebook Come show your skill and what you’ve learned in this friendly competition. Prizes for the winners will be a pin, A certificate, and a box of 9mm target rounds.

Remember our brass drive is on going. If you go shooting we could sure use the brass. It helps to fund our organization. We want to get back to giving CPR/First Aid/ and Stop the Bleed for free but we need donations to do this

My Mac icons are drawn on a transparent background and look like they are supposed to. However no matter what I do on iOS I get an opaque white background behind the image from the icon file. We’re having a party! Saturday 6/13 from 2 - 8 pm on the North East side of town near the foothills. We’re having a pot luck and you’re invited! Bring the dish you love most or make the best. We will also need sodas, plates, and cups, Paper cups if you can find them plastic and styrofoam are terrible for the environment. We can’t wait to see you. The event will take place at a member’s home so we cannot publish the address but you can contact April on face book or Discord or you can email her at her tucsonpinkpistols.org email address starting a week from the event to get the address. There will be music, food and a pool. This WILL NOT be a dry event and for this reason do not bring loaded firearms to the party. We will have a show and tell table but firearms will be unloaded and locked and unavailable to people that have been enjoying the adult beverages that will be available. Non alcoholic beer and wine will also be welcome at this event.

In a recent announcement of a new Counter-Terrorism Strategy, President Donald J Trump announced that the US counter-terrorism forces would be adding 'anti-american' or radically pro-transgender organizations to their focus of interest, alongside Islamist terror groups and cartels.

The brief announces "We will find you, and we will kill you."

Tucson Pink Pistols stands firmly against naming Transgender Americans on a federalized kill list. This agenda is grossly irresponsible, from an administration known for engaging in an attempted genocide of Transgender Americans. It can and will only lead to violence against our community. We reject that being Transgender has anything to do with terrorism, and only to do with living authentic, honest lives as ourselves.This is not how a genocide begins.

We are already in a genocide, we're just approaching the middle.

The operation blazing swords statement on the upcoming proposed rule change to form 4473 that would unduly burden trans people trying to exercise their second amendment rights. This rule change is aimed at stripping 2nd amendment rights from trans people and criminalizing them:

Daytona Beach, FL, 20 November 2025:

The Second Amendment applies to all Americans, including transgender and non-binary Americans. Nothing in federal law makes it illegal to be transgender or non-binary, which means nothing in federal law strips them of the right to purchase, keep, and bear arms.

This new directive from ATF, stating that firearm purchasers shall identify themselves by their biological sex on the Firearm Transaction Record - Form 4473, forces lawful gun purchasers into an impossible bind. A transgender woman who writes 'female' on her Form 4473 risks being accused of providing false identifying information under the President's order. If she instead writes 'male,' she risks being accused of providing identifying information that no longer matches the appearance of her lived identity, undermining the form's stated purpose of helping law enforcement identify a purchaser. That Catch-22 is not a safety measure. It is a trap.

This contradiction is especially ironic given that the ATF itself added a 'non-binary' option to the Form 4473 in December 2019, during President Trump's first term. The Trump administration raised no objection at the time, or at any point before he left office in January 2021. This sudden reversal is not about policy consistency; it is about political pandering.

The federal government does not get to play 'gotcha' with constitutional rights. Creating a paperwork contradiction designed to intimidate a minority group out of exercising a fundamental right raises serious equal-protection and due-process concerns. If the government creates conditions where the only safe option for a transgender or non-binary person is to forego gun ownership entirely, that is not regulation; that is disenfranchisement disguised as regulation.

Whether the ATF's Firearm Transaction Record - Form 4473 can survive post-Bruen constitutional scrutiny is an open question. What is not in question is that the Constitution does not permit the federal government to target a class of citizens for second-tier rights. Operation Blazing Sword - Pink Pistols will continue to oppose any policy that attempts to do so.

Operation Blazing Sword, Inc. is a grassroots 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping queer people become responsible firearm owners by maintaining a database of over 1,900 queer-friendly volunteer firearm educators located in every state of the USA. It also submits legal briefs (amicus curiae) to protect the rights of not just queer people, but all peaceable citizens, to have access to the most effective tools for self-defense.

Sami has stepped down from his board role due to family and work expectations, he will remain our lead instructor and will still be running classes after taking a brief break to rest and recuperate. Sami will remain a founder and important part of the Tucson Pink Pistols, and we are extremely grateful for his service.

Since our other instructor, Zach is currently on hiatus (he's getting married!), we expect to have a lull in classes for the next month or two. We expect basic handling and concealed carry classes to resume by June at the latest.
