Why do we have this rule?
If a large number of NSFW accounts participate in an SFW subreddit, Reddit mark that subreddit as NSFW. This significantly limits the community's visibility and features, including reduced discoverability in search and feeds, loss of organic reach, and restrictions such as video posting. It can also cause SFW users who participate here to have their own profiles marked as NSFW.
To maintain this subreddit SFW status, we will not allow participation from NSFW accounts. (This whole process is automatic)
Also, a large majority of inappropriate and creepy comments we remove come from NSFW accounts. This rule will reduce that behavior and keeps the community more comfortable for everyone.
