State of Volkswagen and development of the ID Buzz
I really love the look of the LWB ID Buzz. I think of all of the EVs available in Australia it presents a really compelling solution to family transport.
However, I’m torn in pulling the trigger on one for the following reasons:
- VW is axing 100,000 jobs
- VW share price is plummeting
- PRICE. Oofa Doofa that’s a lot of coin compared to some of the Chinese EVs
- Haptic controls
- Common bugs that I see posted here like the battery, key fob and windows
- Range. I get that it’s a bigger car with more to drag around, but there is so much room for a big battery which other brands seem to have taken advantage of.
The other EV people movers that are in market in AU don’t really appeal (even though price is around the same bracket) because they are too fancy with second row captain chairs and fold down TV. Eg XPeng X9 and Zeekr 009.
Does anyone else feel the same or am I alone in my hesitancy. (Sorry for the wrong flair btw. No Oceania flair)
