Quote Me Happy Phantom Driving?
My daughter passed her test in June. She took out black box insurance with QMH connect. Everything has been fine whilst she was at home driving the car around. Last month she started at uni 170 miles away. Since she started QMH have emailed her twice saying that the car is making journeys without her phone on, or in the car. This is blatantly untrue as the car has been sat on the drive outside our house and hasn’t moved an inch. We haven’t even opened a door for nearly 3 weeks. She is 170 miles away. She obviously needs the insurance for theft cover while at uni and she will be coming home for the odd weekend and holidays, during which she will drive the car.
We’ve messaged them today stating she is away and nobody has touched the car. How could they be registering the car moving if she is 170 miles from it?
