Garden warfare 1 servers extremely unstable
it's like you get a 3v3, then people start petering off and getting disconnected every match. what's going on?
Wow. Garden Warfare 1 feels so different after playing GW 2
Ive been playing GW2 for a while, mastered a bunch of characters, then thought that I should try the original. I think I like the OG one a lot more: I feel like the game focuses a lot more on teamplay, especially with the half-health regeneration stuff. You can't just run in and solo without dying, and if you do survive, you're now at half-health and easy pickings for whoever else comes along. I also like how healer classes still revive faster, but you dont come back with full health. It feel like the game makes you strategize a lot more than just simply running in and getting kills.
I also enjoy the small, cramped spaces compared to GW2's maps that are almost always open spaces. I also feel like there's a lot more verticality and less symmetry with GW1's maps, that make it feel like true urban warfare, rather than just big arenas with not too much difference with how to approach a garden or graveyard.
It's been nice going back to the OG game after so long; heck, even the game loads a lot faster than GW2! I've had a lot of fun with the sequel, but the first one, funny enough, feels like a breath of fresh air.
Is it just me or is garden warfare 2 running a lot worse all of a sudden?
I was just playing the game a couple hours ago, and now it's really choppy. is it because of the new anti cheat?
What if the game had text chat...
I thought about it, cuz while you might be playing with twenty different people in a game, it feels pretty lonely, since no one is talking in the voice chat. I know how a text chat could definitely be abused, but it would be nice to be able to just say a collective gg in the chat, yknow
If you guys join a lobby that hasn't started yet, wait!
I've been sitting in this lobby with one other guy in the lobby and we've seen about 6 different people join the other team and then leave, even though the game would've started if they just waited a second longer.
