“Insaniquarium Legacy” Project — After months of preparation, I'm managing to “rebuild” Insaniquarium in another programming language, so we can play and modify it more easily and for free :)

I think I've managed to replicate the guppies' movement system pretty well. There's just a slight delay when they go to eat their food, but it's turning out really cool. I hope to finish it by the end of the year and share it with you all. It's a project I've put a lot of love into... I love this game :)

Remember those old Facebook fish games? We brought them back with more complexity.

We’ve been working relentlessly on The Fish Corner, a cozy fish shop management game built in the open-source Godot engine.

Everything is hand-drawn, and our artists study real fish movement and behavior to make every species feel alive & realistic.

Even though the game is 2D, we wanted aquariums to have real depth, so we created a tank decoration system where you can build across multiple layers and create your own little underwater worlds.

You run your own fish shop: collect fish, care for them, breed them, and sell them. Fish have different genetics and stats, meaning breeding isn’t just random, you’ll need to pair the right fish together to improve your lines and discover better generations.

There’s still a lot we want to add, but the core systems are finally here. One of our favorite parts has been developing the game together with our Discord playtesters. A lot of features and changes have come directly from community feedback, and we’re continuing to prioritize what players actually want. If you want to join the playtest, visit our Discord, the link is on Steam.

Our demo is part of Steam Next Fest now, we’d love for fellow cozy/management game fans to try it and tell us what you think! 💙🐠
