Hilton Head Resort Villas

This was quite a fascinating stay for me and my partner. We booked this hotel for a wedding we had to attend the next day, and when I saw the enclosed building it was just fascinating. When the interior was empty it was a bit spooky. Very orange when at night.

Some photos I took at Red Top Mountain beach

I was waiting for a steamer trunk I had painted to dry at a friend's house, so I decided to stop by and walk around for a bit with my camera! At first I was trying to go to Lake Allatoona, but my gps kept routing me to the private marina entrances and I was confused. The water was such a pretty sight! I only had about an hour, so I apologize for not being able to get the prettiest sights :).

Daddy D's demolished

Took these yesterday after coming home from work. Looking forward to seeing what comes next, though it is sad how it led to this.

Some photos taken at Savoy Auto Museum

Absolutely loved this exhibit! I loved the section with wood paneled cars the most. What a wonderful slice of automotive history. If you're ever in Cartersville, I'd definitely recommend it.

Even more photos from Northlake Mall

This is my second and final set of photos from my visit to Northlake Mall last week. I absolutely loved gazing at the overhead glass, the sunlight really emphasized the blue and orange contrast.

More photos from Northlake Mall

I had to drop off some old yarn and other things to Scraplanta and had my camera on me. After seeing one post about the mall's situation, I figured I'd go walk around. I noticed two gold/jewelry stores open on the upper level, and a comic book store below. Other people were going for walks as well, but they were sparse. Something was a bit unsettling about all of the empty seating areas. It just felt like the whole world had moved on. I've got a few more photos I'll work on later.
