After the first year of our 12 team 9 cat league where I was tanking for this loaded draft class and sold some really solid players (Banchero, Buzelis, Ausar, Coby, Sheppard), I'm really excited with my roster and I think I'll be contending for years to come.

I also have 5 FRPs in the next 5 years and was trying to "buy". What am I missing? I think I'm really balanced but yeah. I tried to offer 4 1sts for Booker but not accepted. The guy who has it is the current champ and have a really deep team.
I'm trying Scoot because I believe he won't stay in Portland after they traded for Ja and I still believe in his potential. I offered Vassell and a 1st, I think it's a fair offer for a player entering year 4 and that hasn't established himself yet. He might never do it.
I've a pretty young squad. I've Wemby, Amen, Haliburton, Kessler, Garland and also picks 2, 3 and 5 of this year's draft and several other good young players that I'm high on like Niederhauser, Rollins, Ace Bailey, CMB etc
With that being said, I don't really have the need to go younger and trade FVV and Jrue that are still good pieces irl and will put up numbers.
But... I really like IQ, I had him this last season on a redraft league and I really like his game, I think he's underrated and is a key piece for the Toronto Raptors next season too. His shot making ability is crucial for them and i I trade both FVV and Jrue for him I'll also go younger and that's not particularly bad. I wanna contend next season tho so I'm not sure if this is an overpay or not to get him but I think he's definitely the better player between those 3.
I sent the trade but regret it and canceled. Is it a good move?

Idk who should I pick in 1.02 and 1.03 but I won't let Peterson drop to 4th unless I get the 5th pick
I was thinking about sending Buzelis for the 5th pick so I can draft Boozer, Wilson and Peterson knowing that if I let the 4th guy choose between Peterson and Accuff he'll draft the second.
Is it worth it? I like Buzelis ngl but seems like a smart move
