I wish the current meta for top and bot weren't so genuinely unfun, toplane is the interactive experience of anniva varus and jayce and bot is a grab bag of mages using the bonus gold to buy inexpensive ap items and run around with 4 items at 20m from getting 7cs a min

But the real problem is laning against ranged top or mage bot is just an unfun experience unless you are also doing the same, before it was a powerful cheese pick for lane but mid to late game was pretty bad, but the role quest rewards suit these more niece picks better than the main roster of the actual role i played 20 games of top and bot today and yesterday and i kid you not i found 1 singular melee top and it was a level 20 garen in a normal game and not a single adc (besides in toplane) in all but 3 of my games or in other words >75% of my games these "rare picks" were in my games,

i hate the philosofy they use of "yes its unfun yes its actually effective but overall its picked really rarely so lets keep it broken" its the same thing that happens to rumble he is ultra broken for forever but isnt played by enough people to change him
