6 Barrtone Guitar Strings (can I repurpose an 8-String set)

So I have 4 sets of 8 string guitar string stings I have laying around. The gauges are: 10,13,17,30,42,54,64,74

6 stings Baritone sets are typically 13,18,30,44,56,72 or 13,17,26w,36,46,62

My question is. Do you think I could repurpose the 8 stings sets for my 6 string barrtone. Using the first 6 or middle 6 stings? So 10,13,17,30,42,54 or 13,17,30,42,54,64

I no longer have an 8 stings guitar so I am trying to find a way to repurpose these strings. But I dont want to damage my Baritone guitar so some advice would be great. I am trying to achieve c or d standard tuning.
