Alby Strikes Again

Even in an episode where Alby is barely scene, he proves to be even more horrendous than before. Outing Niall to Joanna, seriously. Even during their heart to heart, I couldn’t connect with her due to this fact. Alby doesn’t deserve forgiveness, nor redemption. (And don’t spin this as Ruben does.) Alby wakes from a coma and say, let me continue my misdeeds from way back. What a joke.

I think it’s very telling that Alby doesn’t actually care about Niall. He cares what he can produce Niall to do in regard to him.

When Alby is introduced I really thought he would be like a confidant or someone Niall could gain confidence from. But as the episode continued, I started to see how Alby is flawed and manipulative. He not only threatens to out Niall, but down right almost does before getting bashed.

See people fawn over him and his “relationship” with Niall is disappointing. Seeing Niall go back to him however isn’t. It shows that Niall is easily manipulated and finds “safety” in anybody that shows something he lacks. He’s a performer.

There’s is no doubt in my mind that Alby is the worst person for Niall to end up with. And I think later episodes will show how manipulative and narcissistic he really is.
