Artist/Gamer switching from Win10 to Linux. Hoping to get some distro suggestions from more experienced users?
I'm looking to finally bite the bullet and get the hell off Windows. Its been getting worse and worse and there is literally no way in hell I'm installing Win11 on anything I own.
I grew up hearing how hard Linux is and all that, so it's actually quite the intimidating transition for me. I'm hoping to find a Distro that will be able to run Adobe CS6, Clip Studio Paint, and Steam games, maybe even Java Minecraft. I know most Distros will probably have word processing capabilities so I'm not terribly worried about that.
Would any one be kind enough to give me some lived experience with various Distros? I've read good things about Bazzite and Drauger, but those have mostly been gaming only anecdotes or posts by artists from several years ago.
