Bungie predicted exoplanets around Tau Ceti nearly two decades before real-world astronomers found them
Learnt this today: astronomers only discovered Tau Ceti had planets orbiting it (they think five) in 2012. In 1994 it was just a distant star system (albeit EDIT: one of the closest* to Earth): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tau_Ceti#Planet_candidates
