This kid has come a long long
Way. He used to be so afraid of the cold water. Would cry if I asked him to try. I slowly got him started over a stubborn bet he made and it’s been such a crazy transformation ever since. No he’s thriving. It’s helped his confidence tremendously and his mood. He’s very proud of himself and goes to show you the mental benefits of cold water on mental state.

Hey guys, I’ve got a friend with a few older Rolexes that have mostly just sat in a drawer for years. He doesn’t really wear watches anymore. This particular no date Submariner currently isn’t running. He said it worked when he put it away, but it’s probably been sitting untouched since the 90s. I’m assuming it likely just needs a service, but I honestly don’t know enough yet to tell if there’s anything more going on.

He also gifted me a 90s Pepsi GMT recently, which was super cool of him, and now I’m thinking about offering to buy this Sub from him too.

Curious what you guys would realistically offer for something like this in non running condition? Trying to be fair to him while also accounting for the unknowns and potential service costs.

Any thoughts appreciated.
