Getting Ready to Make the Jump

I bought a Pixel 7 Pro in about 2023 (late 2022?) with CalyxOS pre-installed. I've been happy with Calyx, but it seems to be "in limbo" at the moment and I have no idea when they're going to be back in action. In the mean time, I've been researching GrapheneOS and I must say, I'm VERY impressed! I've read quite a few articles about it as well as watched several install/set-up videos and everything seems to be straightforward. A couple of questions though:

-Every one of those install videos show installing from standard Google Android; is there anything to be on the lookout for when going from Calyx to GOS?

-When I'm ready to buy a new Pixel in a couple of years to continue using GOS, the setup videos showed an option to restore from a backup during the setup process right after installing. When doing this restore, will everything, and I mean everything, be exactly identical to the old phone?

I'm not a big "phone guy" and just use pretty basic apps; no streaming, banking or shopping apps, etc.

I'm planning on pulling the trigger on installing over the weekend. Any info or advice is much appreciated!

NVidia Drivers - ZorinOS 18.1

I've been running ZorinOS 17.3 since about September with no issues and my PC has an NVidia GeForce RTX 5030.

I recently read a post here about someone upgrading to 18.1 with an older NVidia card that ran into some issues. Is anyone aware of any potential issues I may run into with the 5030?
