Im about to start a campaign but ive played more lancer than anyone else, including the gm. what should i build
I'm the one who turned GM onto lancer, and helped the new player(s) (we have one or two unconfirmed) navigate COMPCON. I have about 15 one shots on the INTERPOINT server under my belt, although I havent played in over a year.
My preferred build is a Striker Executioner/Juggernaut Caliban build, although I've been thinking about trying out a Grapple/Nexus Balor build. I haven't played Balor before. I prefer fast aggressive close range characters.
Should I go with the frame i know like the back of my hand, or go with the lest optimized build so as to not "show off"?
update: we're having a session "0.5" soon where we really talk about our rolls. session zero was just about introducing everyone to the setting and an introduction to comp/con.
