Cat acting weird after eating
Hi, we have adopted a cat 2 years ago. He is 14 years old now. He always had some weird behavior after eating, but recently it's getting worse. He has been to the vet twice, but I think they just don't know what it could be.
The problem:
After every meal, immediatly after, i can see his skin rippling , like he has a bad itch, he starts biting and scratching it , then run around like crazy only pausing to bite/scratch again, this goes on for a while.
Also normally he is very friendly, but when he is in this state, he will start hissing if i try to pet him. Its like he has the zoomies, but in a very unpleasant way.
Vet:
After the first vet visit, he was put on drops for fleas/worms etc. We still give hime these drops every month, but its not helping with his issue.
After the second visit, he tried feeding him food with single protein source to see if he is allergic to anything, but he has it with all food types.
We also tried food thats easy digestible, but also not helping.
Extra:
He gets both wet food and also dry food. He is a bit of a hunter as well so its possible that he eats whatever he can catch outside as well , bird/mouse/frog
Any ideas as to what ot could be or what i could try?
