I used to love a good fountain Diet Coke with my food at R.J. Grunts (I don’t drink alcohol so it’s my guilty treat) but now they make you buy sodas by the can for $2.75 each! I asked my waitress and she said their soda machine stills works, but they were told not to use it and that refills were no longer free. I’m a bit sad because the cans are less bubbly too :(
Last week or so someone on this sub mentioned the Nik Bentel sale and I took a look. I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with the chrome Orb Bag. I studied mathematics in college and the design is based on Dupin cyclides (an algebraic surface) which made it feel like fate. In addition to the bag beautiful of course!
I added it to my cart but I spent a minute deciding whether I wanted to add one of their wallets too. Unfortunately by the time I clicked check out, the chrome bag had sold out. I ended up buying the black version instead (which is also really pretty) but I still keep thinking about the chrome one and wishing I had just checked out right away.
I even reached out to the brand to ask if there was any chance of getting one if there were any returns or orders cancelled, and they were very kind but they basically said no.
Has anyone else had a bag that got away? Were you ever able to find one later on the secondhand market? I’d love to hear any success stories. I’ve already made search alerts for several secondhand sites looking for this bag and haven’t had any luck :(
Hi! Does anyone want this Spurs Europa League Bilbao hat? I got it last year when I did a Tottenham stadium tour because the team had just won and in my excitement I did not consider for a single moment that I never wear hats. The only other Tottenham fan I know in real life is my mom and she’s a peripheral Korean Spurs fan that doesn’t keep up with football (and also happens to not wear hats).
It’s never been worn and I was hoping I could give it to a supporter who would actually wear it (or at least cherish it). I live in the US but I’ll be in London the week of May 25th, so if you’re open to meeting somewhere around Hyde Park I could hand it off to you there! I’ll also be going to the match against Everton on May 24th and would be open to meeting then to hand it off, though I think it might be really hectic and maybe not the best place to do so. But adding that as an option just in case.
