Found this purse at Goodwill and I can't find any information beyond it being sold as a pop up thing? I picked it up just because it looked funny and didnt realize it was a limited edition 100% leather.
After years of thinking I finally did it- and got lucky, bought it the day before the price increase. I am very happy with the bag.
So I can see my collection! As you can see I own quite a few bags (too many haha- I need to donate/sell some). But I was always grabbing just the usual 2-3, because they were all tucked away inside their dust bags in my closet.
I was inspired by some ladies on this subreddit who stored their bags in these IKEA cabinet/bookshelf displays so I got myself one too! I got the Brimnes cabinet since it had more compartments than the Billy, and I like that the shelves are made of glass to allow light to pass through to the lower tiers.
We got it all set up and for the first time, I’m able to admire all my bags at once. I love it so much!!
Have you reached purse peace yet or are you still searching? Which bag will it take for you to stop collecting them? I've spent more money in the last month and a half than I've ever spent on handbags because I found a silhouette that I genuinely love to carry. I don't have every color in it but I have most of them and I'm ok with that because I already have other bags in the other colors that I like. I don't know, when the next purchase for myself will be but I will probably buy a bag or two for family members for the holiday season. Right now, I'm at my purse peace.
Turned around at this gay bar and saw two large puzzle bags and HAD to throw my flamenco in the cuddle puddle. I was like WHO’S LOEWE IS THIS?!
The two puzzles were different people who were completely strangers lol We made a Loewe pile, screamed, and danced the night away. I thought you’d all appreciate the love of Loewe bringing us all together 🤗✨
Still not sure if this qualifies as luxury but it is the costliest bag I own. Totally surprised by how much it can fit. Was never eyeing this bag but got a great deal in German outlet village and did an impulse purchase 🫣🫠

I don't have any burgundy bags and it would pair well with my wardrobe year-round. My only concern is that the gold hardware will fade or chip with wear - for those familiar with balenciaga, how has the hardware held up with heavy use?
I also feel like the gold makes it look a little dressier and I'm going for something more casual looking. But the burgundy is so scrumptious with the gold.
I also love the black with silver. It just looks really effortlessly cool. But I also have a similar-but-different style (a medium black Proenza PS1, both have the slouchy look with top handle and crossbody strap) with gunmetal hardware, and all of my other black bags have gold or brass.
My husband, toddler, and I are on vacation and there’s a Louis store on the hotel property. He asked me if I wanted to look around after dinner and I was like sure!! Not expecting to buy anything of course.

I don't have a leather tote like this and really like the color, design, and style of this bag. I also really like that I can get it for $600. The only bad thing about the bag itself is that it doesn't have compartments. But my main hesitation is that I recently (like a month or two ago) bought a $500-600 bag and although I can definitely afford this bag but feel like I shouldn't keep buying nice bags so frequently. Please talk me out of this bag 😭
Finally was able to get an appointment for the “Bark Jacobs” event and i had to share this because i am in LOVE!!! they even gave me a free toy to take home for my pup! All the ladies who work at the Marc Jacob’s in Soho NYC are absolutely lovely and were very helpful while i was picking my bag! I think i want to go back next year to get my other dog painted! I will treasure this bag forever
I have read so much about trying to sell myself on places like Poshmark, or selling via consignment. I think Fashionphine does buy back but I went in and there was no one available to look at it. At this point thought I'd go to trusty Reddit to get some good ideas/advice from you all based on experience you've had selling across different platforms.
I'm in OC/LA area if there is a recommendation for a local shop, interested in those options as well! Not interested in trying Facebook marketplace...

I bought this precious bag from a consignment pop up at a market today. I was too busy having fun at the market and did not check to see if the bag could even open! Any who, now I have it, and I cannot open it. I’ve tried pushing the button (not a button), and sliding it side to side. It feels like there is something inside but I can’t open it! I bought this “Mini” Dior Mini Tote. She wanted to see other colors in-person to potentially exchange so we brought the bag to our flagship store. When they saw the bag, they said “that’s not a mini, that’s a small” and showed us what the mini size actually is.
After some questioning, the workers noticed that all the tags on the bag do mention it being a mini, but also that this particular colorway isn’t for sale in a small, in the US, at all.They said it’s possibly an overseas model that got returned in the US.
After some deliberation, we decided to keep it. The main reason being that I did pay mini price for a small size.
Does anybody have any additional details on my bag? Any non-US redditors able to confirm their suspicions?

I just finished my first project using Togo leather. It’s amazing to work with! The color is Ebene. I also used some left over alligator I had to accent it. They go so well together! It’s all hand stitched too. It took around 60 hours. I’m happy with how it turned out and just wanted to show it off!
