Found this purse at Goodwill and I can't find any information beyond it being sold as a pop up thing? I picked it up just because it looked funny and didnt realize it was a limited edition 100% leather.

Sometimes a purse is just too beautiful to pass up. This "Somethin New" Bouquet by Betsey Johnson did that for me.

I ❤️ to sew and this Sewing Machine purse by Vendula was right up my alley. The attention to detail is amazing.

Randomly stumbled across the Bettier Than Ever Cake Bag back in August. Thought it would be a cute novelty bag and it definitely is. It does feel cheap/tacky BUT as an avid Betty Crocker enjoyer, how could I have said no? 🥰

It retailed for $89. Came with box mix & frosting of whichever cake flavor you chose, a dustbag, strap and interchangeable charms for the bag.

I love these Montana West hot dog purses representing your favorite major league baseball team. Did your favorite baseball team make the playoffs? My favorite team is the SD Padres…I even made a Padres dress. I may need to get this purse to wear with it.

Just wanting to share my amazing food themed novelties. They make me happy and I love the whimsy they add to my everyday outfits. All 3 Kate Spade.

I bought the Oh What Fun Nutcracker Kate Spade Novelty bag And I told myself that if my phone didn’t fit in it, I would return it. And of course it’s not even close, the interior of this bag is just so teeny tiny.

But hear me out… can I use it an oversized bag charm?! It’s so cute that I want to keep it so I’m trying to think of a practical (?) way to use it. I think it could work on my Bayswater Backpack, but it looks silly and feels unstable on my Amberley Satchel. Pictures of both for reference.

Idk, what do you think? Should I return it because it’s cute but wildly impractical because it can’t even fit my phone? OR can I make it work as a comically large bag charm?

ETA- UPDATE: I returned it, BUT I’m keeping the whimsy! I was able to find a seller with both the boy and girl Kate Spade Nutcracker Bag Charms and was able to bundle them for the same amount that I’ll get refunded for the bag.

The ultimate decision factor was that if I used the bag as a bag charm I would like damage the nutcracker bag and the bag I had it on.

Buying the charms on Vinted is a new adventure, really hoping it works out 🤞🤞🤞

Hi! I was given this bag by a co-worker (lovely upscale lady on the Upper East Side!) and was curious about its origins. The tag on the inside says Hashimoto but the metal snap says Towanny. Any of you have more info? 1920s? 1970s? (70s is my guess)
