I was finally able to procure my dream Betsey purse; Bows and arrows. The only problem is I can't find what the be material is. I've seen lamb and I've seen faux leather. Does anyone know? If it is lamb, what's the best conditioner to use for maintenance? Thank you!!
I bought this dress online and its in quite rough shape. The care tags have been cut off so im not sure what it’s made of or how to wash it. Im pretty sure the lining is silk and the outer layer is a wool blend. The ruffles are discolored and the lining is longer than the wool part and has been shortened already (you can see on the 5th picture) so i’m assuming the wool has shrunk in the wash. Does anybody have advice on what i can do? 🥲 Or does anybody have more information about the dress generally?
Got these 25+ years ago at the Earl Warren Show Grounds in Santa Barbara Ca at a weekend warehouse sale. The gold one is *very hard to photograph. So much prettier in person. Been trying to convince myself to sell, but it's not working...photos in comment section.
recently uncovered two of my old favorite Betsey purses, but as you can see they are now peeling badly and quite faded! They were heavilyyyy used during the 2010s. The peeling is worst on the handles, is there anyway I can restore these? Or should I just replace the straps completely and hope for the best? Thanks in advance!
