Intense sensitivity on lower front tooth
About 2 weeks ago this started out of nowhere, if anything cold touches it's extremely painful for a few seconds after the cold is removed. It's even sensitive to cold air blowing on it. Hot is also uncomfortable.
The back of the tooth is perfectly fine
I can't see any signs of cracks in the tooth and I have been using sensitive toothpaste for over a year
Is this something to get looked at asap and what could it possibly be? There was no trauma etc to the tooth
