.925 and 10k ring?

I see hallmarks but I also am unsure if the gold is just plated due to the tarnish, and I cannot tell if the sapphire is real or the 8 very small diamonds (perhaps they are white sapphire?)

Should I take this to a jewelry store to ask as well?
