Are you READY to help give DE kids books??

Posting for my school’s reading specialist. Please help give our kids access to some great books!

“Use promo code READY to double your donation! I'm a Reading Specialist at a Delaware elementary school, and I'm hoping to give my students access to engaging books and learning materials through my DonorsChoose project. Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward helping my students build confidence and a love of reading. If you're able to donate or even share my project, I'd be incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting our young readers! ❤️📚”

Help Me Cross the Finish Line—Just $63 to Go!

Happy Friday, Delaware Redditors!

I’m just $63 away from fully funding my DonorsChoose project! The critical items I need are a voice amplifier and a thermal printer—both will make a huge difference in my classroom, where about 50% of my students receive special education services.

The voice amplifier will help me be heard without straining my voice, and the thermal printer will allow me to quickly create labels, visual supports, and classroom materials that help my students stay organized and successful.

If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars makes a difference. We are SO close to our goal. Thank you for all your support!!

Can you help support our Delaware classroom?

As requested by other Reddit members, I created a Donors Choose for items that my 4th grade special education classroom desperately needs. Any support is appreciated and will go directly to my students. You can read more about what I am asking for and why by clicking the link. Thanks for supporting a Title 1 DE school and teachers!!

Can you help support our Delaware classroom??

Hi everyone! I hope this is okay to post.
I’m a 4th grade special education teacher in a Delaware Title I school in Kent County and my co-teacher and I are getting our classroom ready for a new group of students.

We’re working hard to create a calm, welcoming environment where our kids can feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. We’ve put together an Amazon Wishlist with classroom supplies and calming items we’d love to have. If anything isn’t purchased, we’ll be buying it ourselves, as we do every year. We know times are tough, so there’s absolutely no pressure, but if anyone is willing to help, even one small item makes a huge difference for our students.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting Delaware teachers and kids. ❤️

Hi everyone! I’m posting on behalf of a friend and fellow teacher/reading specialist at Star Hill Elementary School.

Their DonorsChoose project is currently raising money for books for our reading resource room, which benefits students across the entire school — especially struggling readers who need extra support and engaging, high-interest books.

Star Hill is a Title I neighborhood school, so community and state support truly make a huge difference for our kids. Delaware has always shown up for teachers and students, and we’re hoping people might be willing to help again.

A huge thank you as well to the Delaware Reddit community because you previously helped fund my own DonorsChoose project for classroom headphones, and it genuinely impacted my students every single day. ❤️

Right now, DonorsChoose is DOUBLING donations for Teacher Appreciation Week, so every dollar goes twice as far.

If anyone is able to donate, share, or even just upvote for visibility, we would be so grateful. Thank you for supporting Delaware public schools and our students!
