Aside from just the usual biotech hype from a New Drug Announcement, I fully expect a massive press reaction to the event. I hope DFTX has their PR scaled up to meet the inevitable interest because this is a 75 year old drug (LSD) that has been denied by absurd political prohibition. I think LSD legalization/acceptance actually dwarfs cannabis, not only in efficacy but also application.

I’m not sure if this conference will have much impact on DFTX other than continued positive exposure. I wonder if Definium will have any sort of presence here or if they try to release any info prior to the hearing.

DFTX currently has a little over 105mm shares outstanding, about 75% of which are held by institutions. This company is just starting to show up on the radar of big players and it is still barely visible to the public. The proposed public offer is being handled by some major institutions and the new shares, however many and at whatever price, will be absorbed like a drop of water landing in a rushing river. My guess is the offering will be about 10-15mm shares between $30-35 per and those will be snatched up quickly. Of course I would not be surprised to see a small pullback on the news of an offering but I will certainly be a buyer if this dips.

Phase 3 readout imminent for DT-120, an LSD based therapeutic compound…more clinical trials for other compounds including an MDMA based drug…incredibly low float around 100mm shares…a strong upswing in share price with consolidation at recent highs and dips being bought hard. The options market is pretty hot here too….last week I got a handful of Jun 18 35c @ .10/contract and over the past 2 days I’ve sold half in the .40-50/contract range. I’m sitting on a batch of Jun 18 20c that are well ITM. I’ve sold several Jun 18 25-30cc which will be covered by the Jun 18 20c but I’m hesitant to sell more because I may want to buy the shares.

As someone who is familiar with psychedelics I can say firsthand they are the only drugs I’ve used that have had profound and positive impacts on my life. I’m optimistic that DFTX investors may now be financially rewarded as well
