Dermatologists, how long does ketoconazole take to treat chronic fungal infections?
Went to a dermatologist complain of *possible* eczema, undiagnosed. I have been using a hydrocortisone since the pandemic and its been helping quite a bit. This dermatologist said I might not have eczema but actually have chronic fungal infection and prescribed me a ketoconazole shampoo and cream. My face is still red and itchy 4 weeks later. Is it time I consider this might actually be eczema?
