Stopped by Calvert Woodley today hoping to snag their Rare Character store pick, but missed it by less than 5 minutes.

Obviously still a little bummed I missed the store pick, but I'm feeling pretty good about this haul.

Saw LAX Wine & Spirits in Beltsville post these today, made the drive after work, and managed to snag one of the last bottles. Looking forward to cracking it open. Anyone else tried the new Black Maple Hill yet?

My tasting notes were baked/green apple, caramel, toasted oak, rich mouthfeel, and great balance. Nice bottle for the price.

Has anyone else had Barrel #1053 - VA ABC 1792 BiB pick?

Picked up the 1792 Bottled in Bond Sazerac Barrel Select last week and liked it enough to grab a backup today, still 3 bottles left. Also picked up the Four Roses Private Selection OESV (10 years, 1 month, 115.8 proof). Haven't cracked the Four Roses yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

As of this afternoon, they still have 2 left.
