PD: Dec 2014 (EB2 India)

I missed the 2022 filing window, but when Chart B became current in April( they started using Chart A again in May),I filed my I-485 under EB2 India,USCIS received my package on April 23.

On May 16, I received a rejection notice stating: “visa is not immediately available for your priority date.”

However, at the time I filed, Chart B was current for my PD and I used the correct date per the April Visa Bulletin.

Now I’m confused because the rejection seems to be based on visa availability for the PD, even though it was current when I submitted.

Has anyone faced a similar rejection? What are the next steps, especially since the dates have now retrogressed?
