Rant
Hi guys, just looking to rant/for support. We’re the last couple in our friendship group to not have kids, we are very happy in our childfree life and decision, but can’t help feeling like we’re seen differently. We support our friends with kids and love our nephew and niece, but EVERY conversation now is about babies and parenthood. They all go on about how they now have a ‘purpose’ and sometimes feel pointed. We went on holiday last week and felt like there was some jealousy around it. We’re the youngest in the group and think others think we’ll change our minds eventually and get told our kids would be ‘cute’ as a mixed race couple (🤮) but as we know we won’t change our minds, do we just have to get used to being the odd ones out and find more childfree friends?
