I’ve been super busy all summer but I finally had time to do the DK challenge. I completed all the bananzas, throwbacks , and I was working through the time challenges when I realized the last challenge requires you to have the final rehearsal unlocked. 😭
I only have like 400 bananas, and I’ve only beat the Kong rehearsal. So I guess I’m cooked
I built my battleship today, and I don’t want Coby/Helmeppo at Baratie since I’m a manga fan primarily- so, I switched their heads with generic heads and hairs to turn them into generic marine cadets to man the cannons, and put the old Coby/helmeppo on the battleship. So now I have 5 marines on the battleship.
1- buggy is lowkey luffys arch nemesis / rival
2- this would allow mihawk to be zoros final battle and crocodile to be sanjis
3- buggy is one of the only characters next to luffy and Blackbeard with genuine pirate king level narrative
4- it would be the climax of buggy’s ongoing gag of failing upwards and reaching higher heights every time we see him despite not being stronger
5- it would be a funny conclusion to a funny manga if after the “real” final war, luffy has to play a Davy back game against this bum

Some newgen pirate pretended to be Kaido while plundering 20k beri, so the marines would capture Kaido instead of the thief
Kaido was executed by the navy but he is secretly back in the background, cherry
He was also powercliffed by Greenbull in the same arc he was defeated, but that’s not related
