Pregnancy After Endo
Has anyone had surgery to remove endometriosis and then got pregnant naturally? We are 5 years TTC and 2 1/2 years of that has been IVF. The doctor wants to check for silent endo this June and I’m scared of doing exploratory surgery when I don’t have symptoms. He is very confident this is the issue and said to do the surgery, be on lupron for a few months, and to try unassisted for a few months (save my untested Day 5 embryos for later - made at 39 years old).
It feels so impossible at this point to even get pregnant naturally even if he finds endo and “fixes” it. The only time I got a positive pregnancy was IVF, but lost the baby at 8.5 weeks March 2026 (euploid) which is why he wants to check the box on laparoscopy. Do people do this procedure and you find nothing? I asked him this question and he said he always finds something. So is everyone walking around with endometriosis these days?!
I’m 40.5 now and it feels like I’ve missed boat on the unassisted path and just use the embryos. Not planning on trying for anymore stimming rounds - I’ve already done 4.
