Honest opinion on Moza KS Pro - coming from the Moza KS - after +- 1 month

My Moza KS Pro arrived around the 13th of last month, and I’ve been using it quite a bit since then. I upgraded from the regular Moza KS, which I used for about 2 years, so I figured I’d share my thoughts for anyone still waiting on theirs or considering the upgrade.

Sorry for the lighting. It's quite dark in this room.

At first, the KS and KS Pro seem very similar, but of course there are some changes between them.

To start with, the Pro adds more controls. Mostly the two extra rotary dials near your thumbs bringing the total to four labeled: TC, ABS, BB, and Diff. Meaning you’ve got almost all your core adjustments within reach of your fingers, which is great for quick adjusting during a race.

The bottom knobs (quite a few extra) are also versatile I suppose IF you set them up correctly. Personally I play a lot of AMS2 and I haven’t really found proper use for all of them yet.. but aesthetically, they’re fantastic. Small details like the illuminated selection really shows the quality and thought! If anyone has good options to bind those, please let me know!

Another very noticeable difference for me personally is the size. Not of the wheel itself, but the handles are definitely a bit thicker than on the KS. I don’t have very large hands, so it might be that but it causes a bit more strain in my wrists and palms. I’ve also caught myself gripping it a bit too tightly at times like a deathgrip, probably something I did before, but it’s more noticeable now with the thicker handles.

One improvement you won’t see but will definitely notice if you’ve used the normal KS: there's no more rattling. The buttons are completely quiet! No noise or rattling over curbs with vibrations. With headphones on it wasn’t a huge issue before with the KS, but with speakers it could get annoying. That’s completely gone on the KS Pro, which is a big plus.

As for the screen.. I’m still a bit on the fence. It’s a nice addition and there are plenty of custom layouts available via the community hub (like the one I use myself), but I don’t find myself looking at it very often yet. That’s probably because I’m used to getting all my info from the main screen. I do think it becomes more useful if your rig positioning is better and the wheel sits more directly in your line of sight or you remove the dashboards / wheels of cars you drive. Is it close to something like the FSR display? Probably not. But there’s also a price difference. And realistically, you only need so much data at once. That said, switching between screens is quick and easy with button combos, which is a nice touch if you ever need more data as fits on 1 screen.

So the main question: is it worth upgrading from the KS to the KS Pro?

Honestly... probably not directly, but it really depends on what you’re after. If you want better build quality, more inputs, and a couple gimmicks and your budget isn’t an issue, then yes! It’s a solid upgrade.

If you’re expecting a big leap in driving feel or you’re already stretching your budget, it might not justify the cost.

Personally, I have zero regrets. I’ll be selling my KS to a friend for around €150, which brings my total upgrade cost to about €230 including shipping. For that, I think it’s a great step up in both quality and overall experience.

If you already have the KS Pro, I’d love to hear your thoughts or any setup tips. And if you’re considering one, feel free to ask questions. I am also curious what reasons would you have not to pick the KS Pro or something different or similar.
